Since completing his training at ALRA North, Matthew has performed in a variety of stage shows such as:
Rob & The Hoodies (Vienna’s English Theatre), Hamlet; King Lear; Macbeth (Cream-Faced Loons), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (GB Theatre), Waiting for Waiting for Godot (Co-produced with 53Two), Roundheads (Big Room Theatre), The Agency (Manchester Fringe), Measuring Up (Fine Comb), Macbeth (MAP Productions) and Tom Gates: Live On Stage (Birmingham Stage Company). Most notably, Matthew performed as the title role of Joe Spud in the West End/National Tour of Billionaire Boy (Birmingham Stage Company) from 2019-2022.
Matthew has also starred in the independent feature films The Bee-Eaters (Foliate Head Films) & Sweetly It Turns (Root Puller) and has most recently written, directed and produced his own feature film: Learn To Loathe Yourself.
